I spent a fair amount of time hanging out on this pier in southern Maryland.
The Potomac river is huge at this point and just south of here is Chesapeake Bay.
A little haze surrounds the moon, the humidity was horrific, but tonight, we celebrated and enjoyed the cool evening air.

Did you know that I am going to retire in south Maryland, where the Chesapeake and the Potomac meet? It's true. It's my favorite place on Earth. Cobb Island, to be exact.
Wow. Then you should now this place well then. These were all taken on Cobb Island or near it. It's a beautiful place, too bad I don't like sea food :-)
It looked familiar. What took you to Cobb Island? I am SOO jealous.
The entire purpose for this vacation originally was to go to the wedding. The groom's dinner was here. It's about half way between were my wife's cousin's family is and the bride's family. So to make a long story short...the wife told me to drive here and eat. Yes...I ordered ribs.
