The Bellagio - Part 1

The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV is a positively breath taking hotel. On our recent trip, we spent a great deal of time here. This hotel hosts one of the world's toughest poker rooms any where. Unfortunately, I can't get in there with a camera.

They spared no expense decorating this hotel. It is elegant like no other, well, maybe the Venetian.

This first picture was taken looking up in one of the domes above the shopping area on the Caesar's Palace side. The colors and the flowers were just beautiful.

This second picture shows the same area from the side. I thought this frame was just about as interesting as the first one.

If you find yourself in Las Vegas, you owe it to yourself to check out this hotel. Heck, even the casino area was beautiful, but I still like the card room.

Very nice photos Captain!

I really like the one looking up.

You up for a trip to Frontanac State Park soon? Or maybe a cityscape in Minneapolis or St. Paul? Maybe the kids and wives could go to the MOA whilst we go out and shoot!

Let me know if you guys would want to give it a go!!

How did you do the two photos and write in between them? Inquiring minds would like to know!

It's a trick using mirrors and a large roll of duct tape. Wait, that's not right. Sorry Megan, I'm in a bit of a saucy mood today.

How do I take two pictures and get words between them?

When you upload your pictures, I'm using Picasa (the google way) of storing my pictures. When blogger uploads and creates the picture HTML, there is an attribute in the there that says "FLOAT:". I always upload my pictures, all of them, with pictures on the left. Once they are up, change every other picture to right where it says left. I then remove the DIV tags. They server a purpose, but I don't like that purpose. Now, for some reason, blogger does weird things with the text, so just be careful. The text is entered first after the picture/link tag of the first picture. When I'm ready for the second picture to have text on the left, I put the text after the picture/link tag in the html and then continue typing.

Sorry, no magic, and getting it to work smoothly just took practice. Becareful not to delete your link to the picture. That really sucks.

I hope this helps. Let me know if I only babbled. I'll be glad to help you or anyone with these questions.

Thanks for stopping by!

You know Nap Warden, we never got to see the show. I wanted to catch it, but we missed it every time.

Maybe next time.
